Mount Etjo Safari Lodge is located in the heart of the Okonjati Game Reserve, one of the first private Game Reserves established in Namibia and founded by world-renowned conservationist Jan Oelofse. Home to the famous fossilized dinosaur footprints, thousands of different animal and bird species and site where the Namibian Independence Declaration was signed, this historic lodge deservedly carries the name “Etjo”, meaning place of refuge. Amazing activities make for countless opportunities to encounter the Namibian wilderness and wildlife like never before, while enjoying excuisite cuisine and luxurious accommodation.

LUXURY ROOMS

All luxury rooms are equipped with a tea/coffee station, an air-conditioner and heater, a ceiling fan, a safe and a small fridge. 

Some rooms offer the use of a Jacuzzi.

SUITES

The Luxurious Suites offer the perfect accommodation for a honeymoon or for a special getaway. Rooms are spacious and fitted with a large lounge, an exquisite bedroom and a fire-place or Jacuzzi, a mini-fridge, safe, ceiling fan, air-conditioner and a tea/coffee station. The Suite is reserved for adults only.

VILLA
- Twin King: two king-size beds

Partially located on an island, with an extraordinary 180 degree view of the lake where animals come to quench their thirst, the Villa is the pearl of Mount Etjo Safari Lodge. The Villa offers privacy, exclusivity and luxury, with a private swimming pool and garden, a Jacuzzi, a mini-bar, DSTV, a large lounge with a fire-place, two king-size beds, private dining facilities and a personal chef (at request, subject to availability). An exceptional opportunity for all-day game viewing from the comfort of the grandest accommodation, the Villa is an African dream come true.

WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY
- Twin: two double beds

Mount Etjo Safari Lodge is built to be wheelchair-friendly, and two rooms are furnished to accommodate the needs for our guests in wheel-chairs. Handle-bars in the bathroom and lower-set washing basins will make our handicapped guests feel at home.

CAMP SITES
- Max four campers per site

The camping sites are located about 3 km from the Main Lodge, privately tucked away within the trees and with view over a large lake. Each camp site is equipped with hot/cold water, lights, private toilet & shower, dish-washing basins, 220 V electricity, fireplace, a camping table and complementary fire wood. Campers are welcome to participate in activities and have meals offered at the lodge.

STANDARD ROOMS
Our Standard Rooms are furnished with two single beds, a coffee/tea station and bathroom with shower. Our standard rooms may be just the right option for younger guests!
