Geography and history

Helao Nafidi, including Oshikango, is a town located in the Ohangwena Province of Namibia. It is located in the northern parts of the country and has a total population of approximately 43 000 residents. This town was established in 2004 at the border to the country of Angola and is separated into three main areas.

The town of Helao Nafidi was heavily affected by the South African Border War which happened between 1966 and 1989. Its business community is doing well today thanks to it being a border town.
