Okahao

Geography and history

Okahao is a town situated in the Omusati Province of Namibia. It is located in the Northern parts of the country and 73 km from the town of Oshakati. Okahao is found in the Ongandjera tribal area on the MR123 main road.

Okahao’s surroundings are flat lands where the residents keep themselves busy with subsistence farming. This town has an airstrip for those who would like to visit the town via aeroplane and there are lodges in the vicinity with picturesque attractions.
