Oshikuku
Geography and history
Oshikuku is a town located in the Omusati Province of Namibia. It is located in the Northern parts of the country and is the birthplace of the Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church in Namibia, Liborius Ndumbukuti Nashenda. The towns and villages found in the vicinity are Outapi, Elim and Ogongo.
The first mission station was established in Oshikuku in 1924 by the king of Uukwambi, Iipumpu Ya Tshilongo. Archbishop Joseph Gotthardt is in charge of this missionary.
Oshikuku features hospital and a secondary school, Nuuyoma Senior Secondary School.
