Otjinene

Geography and history

Otjinene is a village located in the Omaheke Province of Namibia. This small village is located in the eastern parts of the country and is situated 157 km from the province’s capital, Gobabis. Otjinene is known for its many communal villages in the vicinity which are mostly inhabited by farmers. These communal villages are made up of 20 households or less. Farming activities in the area include cattle, goats and sheep.
